Court Fees


Fees paid in person may be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card.  Checks and money orders must be made payable to Clerk, U.S. District Court.  Registered ECF filing users paying fees via pay.gov during the electronic filing of documents are required to use a credit card.


In Accordance With 28 U.S.C. § 1914
Filing Fee (Complaints and Removals) - $400.00, which includes the $50.00 administrative fee
Filing a Writ of Habeas Corpus - $5.00
All Other Fees - District Court Miscellaneous Fee Schedule


Pursuant to EDVA Local Civil Rule 83.1 and Local Criminal Rule 57.4
Pro Hac Vice Admission Fee (per attorney, per case) - $75.00
