DRIVING DIRECTIONS

 

Points east of Richmond: Take I-64 West to I-95 South/5th Street exit, Exit 190, on left toward
Petersburg/Downtown Coliseum. Stay straight to go onto N. 5th Street. Turn left onto E. Broad Street –
Courthouse is located two blocks on right.

 

Points west of Richmond: From I-64 East, take Exit 75 towards Williamsburg/Norfolk and follow the 3rd
Street exit ramp towards Coliseum/Downtown. Continue straight on 3rd Street. Turn left on East Board
Street. Courthouse is located four blocks on the right.

 

Points south of Richmond: Take I-95 North to Exit 74C toward Broad Street. Take the Broad St/US-
33W/US-250W ramp toward State Capitol/Coliseum. Turn slight right onto E. Broad Street, stay in left lane –
Courthouse is seven blocks on left.

 

Points north of Richmond: Take I-95 South to I-64 East exit, Exit 75 toward Williamsburg/Norfolk. Take
the 3rd Street exit toward Coliseum/Downtown. Turn slight right onto N.3rd St. Turn left onto E. Broad Street

Important Security Information

 

Visitors enter the courthouse through the building's main entrance on Broad Street. You will be required to walk though a magnetometer and your bags will be screened by an x-ray machine. You will be required to show a photo ID issued by a government agency, such as a driver's license. Members of the public are prohibited from bringing cell phones, pagers, PDAs, laptop computers, cameras, tape recorders, and all other personal electronic devices into the courthouse. There are no lockers available to store these items while you visit the building.

 

Visitors who wish to conduct research in the clerk's office involving case files - which cannot be removed from the courthouse - must receive approval from the Division Manager to bring a laptop computer into the building. You must remain in the Clerk's Office while using the laptop. Attorneys who require laptops for their courtroom presentations must receive prior approval from a judge.
