The Court wishes to make the public aware of recent scams impacting citizens of the Eastern District of Virginia:
| Jury Duty: | The Court will not call you and ask for money if you allegedly failed to report for jury duty. |
| Arrest Warrants: | The Court will not communicate with you and ask for money if you allegedly have an active warrant for your arrest. |
Please be wary of any communication asking for money regarding alleged business of the United States Courts.
