Appointment of Interim United States Attorney by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Pursuant to Title 28, United States Code, Section 546(d)

The Judges of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia have unanimously appointed James W. Hundley as Interim United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 546(d).  Chief United States District Judge M. Hannah Lauck administered the Oath of Office on February 20, 2026, in Richmond, Virginia.  The Order of Appointment is linked herein.
