Due to continued repairs associated with burst sprinkler pipes, the Newport News Division Courthouse will remain closed until further notice (the Court previously announced an expected reopening on February 21, 2023).  Although the Newport News Courthouse will remain closed for an additional period of time, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia is open.  Electronic filing remains unaffected and the Walter E. Hoffman U.S. Courthouse in Norfolk will be open for any necessary in-person transactions that cannot be conducted in Newport News.  The address for the Walter E. Once a firm reopening date is available, the Court will make an announcement.
