The Richmond Courthouse will be closed Wednesday, January 8, 2025, due to ongoing issues with the City's water supply and quality.  For self-represented litigants, deadlines will be extended to the next business day, pursuant to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Rule 6 (a) (3), due to inaccessibility of the Clerk's Office.  

As a reminder, the Court will also be closed, Districtwide, Thursday, January 9, 2025, by Court Order, in observance of the National Day of Mourning for former President James Earl Carter, Jr.
